Watching Tobal work taught me that sound can be shaped like a material. I saw him transform a melody by altering its brightness, form, tempo, cadence, and weight, then I understood that an idea rooted in form could be conveyed just as well through sound. That was where our collaboration began.

Mariana Méndez now has a sonic identity, and it is Tobal who gave it one. To me, the fact that a "Bivalda" can be heard is the fullest expression of what our house hopes to convey to those who discover it.
